A share of the spoils in their opening game of the season was the reward at the end of a tough encounter at Knockraha. Up against a more physical Wilton side, Riverstown started very nervously and never seemed to lose that uncertainty during the game. Riverstown took the lead through James Jeffries but conceded shortly after. Shane Conlon was unlucky not to kill off the game when his strike hit the crossbar and bounced out off the line. But it would have been a injustice to the visitors if they went away empty handed. Riverstown have some work to do before their next game against Leeds but no doubt they will get it together.
