RIVERSTOWN 1 FERMOY 0
EVERGREEN 1 RIVERSTOWN FC 3
In the first game Sean O'Rourke showed good awareness in taking his chance to score the only goal of the game as Fermoy proved very hard to breakdown.
In their away tie, Jamie Cronin, Alan Connolly and Martin Reid were Riverstown's scorers. This was a great result as they were missing both Sean O'Rourke and Andrew O'Donovan through injury. Great credit to Deerpark CBS groundstaff on what must be the best playing surface around.

MAYFIELD UNITED 2 RIVERSTOWN FC 4
Riverstown kicked off the new season with a fine win away to neighbours Mayfield United. Goals from Alan Connolly (2), Sean O'Rourke and Jamie Cronin sealed Riverstown win. Keeper Niall Dooley saved a penalty and new signings David Power and Tadgh McNealy made very successful debuts for the side.
